To log in to your macbook through ssh, ssh server need to be enabled in macbook.
ssh server can be enabled in macbook as follows
1) Go to System Preferences -----> Internet & Wireless -----> Sharing
2) Check Remote Login box
3) ssh server is now enabled in your macbook. You can even set access restrictions based on users.
4) Click the lock at the bottom to prevent further changes
